Green Solutions Carbon
Skanska conducted a study to measure the carbon footprint of the project, which built on Skanska UK’s carbon footprinting experience and carbon material data. The study tracked the project’s embodied carbon, which is the carbon emitted during the manufacturing and delivery of the construction materials and the construction process itself. The total embodied carbon footprint of the project amounted to 6,338 tonnes CO2, with the concrete works responsible for 62 percent of the footprint.
