The value of the project, being built within the frameowrk „Design and build” is over 468,6 mln zloty.
Skanska’s task was to schedule subcontracting projects for all of the construction work and to build the 25 km long stretch of the road S-8 between the junction Cieśle near Oleśnica and junction Syców Wschód.
The project includes the construction of 19,5 km of the new road path and the widening of Syców Bypass by a second traffic lane. As part of the investment, three new road junctions are going to be formed (Szczodrów, Syców Zachód and Syców Wschód) and one junction (Cieśle) extended. On the developed land, we are going to build four passenger’ service stations offering rest and leisure facilities (so called MOPs). Additionally we are going to built 18 viaducts (5 along the highway S-8 and 13 above) and 12 steel construction underpasses for animal crossing.
The project also includes the land development and the construction of the road drainage system i.e. ditches, storm drainage facilties, water tanks and water sanitation equipment.
