Skanska is providing preconstruction and construction management services for two projects that together make up the North Capital Improvement project.
Operating Suite and Emergency Department Expansion and Renovations
The $20 million, 175,000-SF Central Energy Plant Expansion and Facade Renovations include 23,300-SF expansion of the existing Central Energy Plant and 152,000-SF of skin hardening to the existing hospital’s exterior façade skin. The exterior façade will serve to modernize the appearance of the facility, rectify water intrusion problems, provide a pathway for new mechanical and electrical systems while hardening the building in preparation of future catastrophic events.
Central Energy Plant Expansion and Facade Renovations
The $40 million, 90,000-SF Operating Suite and Emergency Department Expansion and Renovations is a multi-phased addition and renovation to the hospital’s existing ED and OR department. The project includes 47,500-SF of new construction and minor/major renovations.
