The class A office project will be LEED Gold certified and is designed in line with the latest office trends featuring a particular accent on quality. The buildings will provide to its tenants the highest level of comfort, an energy efficient workspace and access to a relaxing courtyard.

Among the green solutions implemented in the project are: energy efficient façade which reduces the solar heat gains, enhanced fresh air flow rate for a healthier working environment, energy efficient lighting systems equipped with motion and intensity sensors, charging stations for electrical cars, parking and facilities for cyclists (lockers and showers).

Green Court Bucharest is developed using green technologies and sustainable solutions such as:

The project has contributed toward sustainable urban development; during construction, Skanska ensured that 95 percent of construction waste was diverted from landfill, which far exceeded local regulations. Regarding energy, the buildings are designed to use 40 percent less energy than the Romanian code for office buildings. The energy-efficient façade with shading system together with the water efficient fixtures and the solar panels for hot water preheating are implemented green solutions that contribute at lower operational costs and at a healthier working place.
An average of 400 people worked on site throughout the construction period of Building A.
Around half of the workers were from Bucharest, with the rest from the surrounding region, and many subcontractors were also from the surrounding Bucharest region. Over 20 percent of construction materials were harvested and manufactured regionally (according to LEED criteria), including the reinforcement steel.
Efficiency financial savings
Green Court Bucharest’s Building A is expected tomake annual financial savings of around 33 percentthroughout its lifespan through the efficient use ofenergy and water.
